I started writing,

thank you for being here!

I often mention a “cope”, and here it all is. This blog space will be a place where I post poems and other writings. I might post lyrics, music opinions, scary takes on pop culture, and things that give me hope. I don’t CAREEEE what the existentialists say about it; I need hope to survive.

It is all so terrifying. I express my fear and resistance the only way I know how.

In the end, I hope that my work starts conversations and generates questions. You can only solve it if you are thinking about it.

Sometimes, I wish that I was born for the New World. That I could help fix it with science or numbers or more computers (?), but I Thank you, God, for the gift of the poet’s temperament. A romantic in a realist world wakes up to break their own heart, maybe I’m trying to break yours (I got a BFA in beautiful understanding btw).

At least it’s SOMETHING. I gotta feel SOMETHING. Apathy is out (and was never in), and it’s hard to be around now without feeling like everything is getting faster and worse every day. Knowledge and action are resistance. I wish that I was yolked or a hacker (or both), but all I can do is ask you the questions that I can’t drop.

Maybe you will have the answers! Maybe you have the field of knowledge that I don’t understand.
